Dues Notice
Q. Why have I received a dues notice when my membership is still valid?
A. We don't want you to miss a single issue of the Club magazine! Members often tell us they appreciate being reminded in advance because they forget to renew, or just procrastinate. And our magazine production schedules mean we're always working ahead, so quite frankly, we appreciate knowing in advance if you're going to renew. So to ensure you don't miss a single issue, we start sending out reminders several months in advance of your actual expiration. (Remember, your membership started the day we received your order, whether you paid at the time or we sent you an invoice.) If you're not ready to renew and take advantage of the special early offer we make, just disregard the notice. But don't worry -- we know you still have some time left on your current membership term when we send your first notice out!

Q.

How do I renew my membership?
A. To renew your membership, please call us at (Club toll-free phone number) and one of our Member Services Representatives can assist you by taking a check or credit card payment without any additional charges added. You can call us between 7:30am and 6:00pm CST, Monday through Friday to renew your membership.

Q.

Where do I send in my dues payment?
A. If you would rather send in a payment rather than calling us, click here for our address to mail in a payment. When submitting payment through the mail, please make sure you write your member number on the check or money order.

Billing
Q. I have already returned this book/video, why have I received another bill for this item?
A. If you have received the bill within 21 business days from the time you sent the item back, please disregard the notice. It can take up to this amount of time for us to receive the item back and process it as a return.

Q.

I have already sent in payment, why have I received another bill?
A. If you have received the bill within 21 days from the time you sent your payment, please disregard the notice. It can take up to this amount of time for us to process the information and update your record.

Membership Expiration
Q. When does my membership expire?
A. Your expiration date can be found on your validation sticker.

Magazine
Q. How many issues of Street Thunder magazine are published each year?
A. There are 6 issues sent out per year. Please allow until the 15th of the first month listed for each issue to recieve the magazine. The schedule for the magazines are: Dec/Jan, Feb/Mar, Apr/May, Jun/Jul, Aug/Sep, and Oct/Nov.

Garage Test Program
Q. How do I participate in the Garage Test Program?
A. To enroll in the Garage Test Program, you must complete and submit a Garage Test Profile form. Submitting this form tells us that you are interested in taking part in the program and it gives us the information we need to select a product that you are able to test. You can submit a Profile form through the Club Web site or you can request a hard copy from Member Services.

Q.

I have been a member for a long time, why haven’t I received a product?
A. In most cases, the wait to receive a test product is under 6 months. Have you submitted a Garage Test Profile? You can submit one through the Club Web site or you can request a hard copy from Member Services.

Q.

Do Life Members get special privileges when it comes to testing products?
A. All members are intermixed in the tester list and are selected on a first-come, first-served basis. In some cases we do specially select Life Members, but only at a manufacturers request.

Q.

How long does it take to get a product to test?
A. Due to the popularity of the Garage Test program and because it is necessary to match each member to the manufacturer’s tester selection criteria, it generally takes 6 months to receive a product. Normally, we limit testers to 1 product every 12 months.

Q.

Once I am in the Garage Testing Program, am I in it until my membership expires?
A. No, after each test you need to complete a new Garage Test Profile. This ensures that the Club has up-to-date information for selecting testers and that we only send test products to members who are interested in remaining in the program.
